The Youth UPF Concert to raise funds for a peace project in Jerusalem took place at the conclusion of the UPF Peace Council. Many volunteer performances were dedicated to this cause in an exciting and varied evening organised by the Youth UPF team.
Through this concert Youth UPF are raising funds for a Jerusalem Youth "Learning to Live Together in Harmomy" Project - as part of the Middle East Peace Initiative. We will be carrying out service projects between 18th ~23rd, December visiting NGO'S that try to promote peace between Israel and Palestine. The Youth Achievement Awards 2013 presentation was an inspirational occasion featuring the sincere idealism of 12 young adults. Convened by the Universal Peace Federation and the Women's Federation for World Peace in the House of Commons, it was hosted by Mr Virendra Sharma MP who remained for the whole session despite his busy schedule. Youth Universal Peace Federation (UPF) - UK held a Training Day seminar on Saturday June 22nd in the UPF London HQ to inspire everyone present to want to contribute to society and to grow their sense of responsibility in creating a better world while furnishing participants with some practical skills and knowledge in order to do so. In the middle of the day a panel (photo) featuring Hashi Mohamed, Zoe Jackson and Samir Sawhney inspired all present by their accounts of mentoring and inspiring others to excel by exhibiting the abilities and character promotedby the seminar.

Youth Universal Peace Federation (UPF) members visited Regents Park Mosque today to 'Walk Hand in Hand and Shoulder to Shoulder to Heal our Communities'. Supported by Sheikh Dr Hojjat Ramzy, the Muslim Council of Britain Education Committee Chairman, the group of young and old UPF activists from several different faiths, were introduced to Sheikh Imam Khalifa, the Imam of the Regents Park Mosque. He reflected on the current situation of the Muslim community. He shared that humanity all have the same heart and spirit given to them by the creator but we developed differently due to Allah's wisdom. We should not harm another community because of those differences. (Photo Link)
