How Do We Approach Extremism?

The youth of today are architects of peace but they are paying a high price for their desire for a better, more fair and just world. To a standing room only Ballroom in Universal Peace Federation HQ, Lord Jack McConnell addressed the issue of peaceful, youthful idealism and the injustices in the world. These clashed once more resulting in the tragic murder of Tawfik Bensaud, the eighteen year old Libyan activist, in Bengazi last month.
The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) has two key themes. The first is the promotion of altruism. UPF uses the slogan, ‘Living for the sake of others’. This conference has dealt with a lot about branding. The ultimate branding is to be respected and trusted as someone who has integrity, a company that is law abiding and is a valuable stakeholder in the community or nation or a nation that is respected for its contribution to solving the problems of other less fortunate nations or to resolving world problems.

He was a very special person to many people who knew him. He was also able to inspire even those who never met him. I find it difficult to describe the essential truth about him as a person.
