UPF UK were partners in an event with World Humanitarian Drive, founded by Dr Abdul Basit Syed Ibrahim, to highlight the role of trade and human connectivity in maintaining peace. This comes under the International Association of Economics for Peace and Development, an association within Universal Peace Federation (UPF). 

UPF - UK invited Dr Andrew Nevin as a main speaker in a programme with a variety of eminent figures. Robin Marsh was the Moderator for two of the Sessions.

The goals of the Tri Lateral Global Summit are to promote trade as a facilitator and maintaining agent of peace. 

More defined Trade for Peace initiatives have the following objectives:  

1.To support the efforts of Peace acceding projects through information, education and experience sharing. 

2.To examine & facilitate the integration of global economies through fair Peace accession-related reforms, Trade policy frameworks in institutions.

3.Establishing partnerships with other international organizations, multinational companies, academic institutions and professional associations. 

4.Showcasing achievements at various forums will explore the intersections among multilateral trade, Peace and security by conducting outreach programs.

5.Focusing on Peace as an enabler of economic prosperity and human resilience in a post-pandemic world.

6.Creating orientation and methodologies in structures and institutions which underpin and sustain peaceful societies.

7.Promoting transparency and good governance.
