Weekend SeminarUniversal Peace Federation holds regular weekend seminars in the beautiful Cleeve House, nestled in the Wiltshire countryside, to reflect on building peace. Several times this has been held together with the Women's Federation for World Peace in Birmingham. In May 2017 there was a special weekend where participants found they had a profound depth of discussion and sharing of experiences among the group.  Reflections from the weekend:

“My idea of a retreat was to study the Bible on my own. When I discussed this with Margaret she said, “you can do that anytime, but when you come with people of different faiths it is a good opportunity to share common ground of universal values. As the Seminar proceeded this sharing was just amazing. I want to say thank you to UPF for organising this retreat. I look forward to the next one.”

“I listened, I learnt, I reflected, I made friends. I am refreshed, my soul is renewed. How beautiful is that!”

“It was a pleasure and privilege to meet such a wonderful group of people. Our journeys crossed, and I leave enriched from the experience of having other perspectives on life, besides my own.”

“The workshop was fantastic, an eye-opener and a vehicle for me to do much more for God and the community, and help more in schools too.”

“The whole experience was wonderful. Great Tim Miller LectureRetreat May 2017to be around such lovely people. I enjoyed all the lectures. We were well looked after. It gives me a sense of Peace to recognise who I really am.”

“The retreat was a wonderful time spent with a team of brilliant people. The presentations broadened my understanding of the Divine principles and an insight into father moon’s life and thinking that guides the UPF. The program was well organised and executed well. It would be useful if the evenings could be used to discuss the writings of Father Moon and other religious leaders.”

“What an experience just amazing! We need to reflect how we can move the UPF concept forward and how we can work together in partnership.”

“coming here was one of the best decisions of my life. I have met so many great people and the lecturers were great. The content was so very profound. For the first time I feel there is yet hope for my suffering country

of South Sudan. Rev Moon has suffered a lot in his life for world peace so we can also do our part.”

“I have always asked, ‘What is my destiny? Can I fulfil it? Who shall I turn for guidance? How will I fulfil it?’ Through this weekend, I found my purpose in the UPF family who could guide me. With their assistance and those of the AFP here, I am sure I can fulfil my responsibility.”

“I have been an Ambassador for Peace for many years attending WFWP and UPF activities. This is not my first workshop but I always come back to be refreshed. The whole weekend was magic. Every person brought so much into the mix. God bless UPF and bless you all!”
