We would like to invite you to attend a most inspiring evening on Tuesday, 1st July, 5.00pm, at the House of Commons, Committee Room 14. At this event we will present the Youth Achievement Awards to mostly young adults of various backgrounds, and hear them explain their activities. Awardees include Jermain Jackman, the winner of The Voice 2014.

He is an ambassador for a number of charities, working hard to encourage and support up and coming young talent in all industries. Such as Blastbeat, Prince’s Trust, Anna Fiorentini theatre School. He was elected by over 6000 young people in Hackney to represent them in the Youth Parliament.

He feels very passionate about both music and politics. He would like to get more young people involved in politics. Before 'The Voice' he also gave singing lessons every Friday for children with disabilities, through a charity called Amberliegh.Pauline Long
