Nathanial PeatWorld Environment Day 2017, organised by Universal Peace Federation UK, featured speakers on different topics from renewable energy and GM foods to 'connecting with nature'. There some interesting questions and comments from the audience some of whom were also very knowledgeable. The theme of the meeting 'connecting with nature' was raised by speakers and the audience who shared their own profound experiences.

In 2016 Nathaniel was listed in the UK Financial Times published Upstanding Top 100 black ethnic minority executives in USA, UK and Ireland. He was listed in the top 20 with position 17. In October 2016 Peat was entered into the 2017 UK Black Power-list. Nathaniel's life continuous to inspire many people and he remains connected to the community that he serves, he is an international acclaimed speaker, youth advocate and ambassador for various social causes.

Tania is the former Finance Director of Siemens Energy in the UK and the former Controller for Siemens Energy Region North West Europe (4 billion EUR business), also leading the Siemens Diversity Programme in North West Europe. Since 2003 Tania has also been active as a Board Member of ViaNinos Germany and UK, a charity that supports projects helping street and working children in Ecuador.

She is highly trained and experienced in the areas of holistic, ecological and sustainable living. Her passion for the individual and planetary health motivates her to instil enthusiasm in her clients for implementing ideas and taking steps towards greener and healthier, more holistic lifestyles.

For the last fifteen years she has been actively involved in the work of numerous national and international human rights and environmental non governmental organisations as a committed and inspired global campaigner, author, fundraiser and public speaker.

Bianca has been awarded Ambassador for Peace award by Universal Peace Federation, NGO with a special consultative status with the UN. She was also chosen as Global Poverty Ambassador for Global Poverty Project (GPP) 2013. A passionate humanitarian and environmentalist, Bianca works tirelessly to be the change in the world.

After studying at the Unification Theological Seminary in the mid 1980’s, which had an interfaith approach, he was involved in inter-racial, ecumenical and interfaith activity in the United States. He began similar work in the UK from the mid 1990’s with the Inter-religious International Federation for World Peace and then the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) for which he has been the Secretary General for the last ten years.

He has been involved in raising awareness of different human rights issues, interfaith activities, sustainable development goals and the empowerment of women and young adults. He and the UPF team have been expanding the foundation to include a wide network of contacts with which they have a regular programme of events. These reflect the general approach of International UPF which holds Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
