Following the successful launch of the Band of Hope Foundation on the 14th of March, its co-ordinator, Hilda Adejumo, has expressed her gratitude to all those who gave encouragement for the project.
Apparently they now have the availability of a container space that will leave for Nigeria by next weekend and so, as a matter of some urgency, they are looking for donations of the following items of furniture, either new or in fairly good condition, for the orphanage home which will be re-opening there soon.
Double beds with mattresses;
Single beds with mattresses;
Dining tables with chairs(4-6 people);
Book-shelves;
Sofa-beds.
Anyone who is able to come up with any of the above items within London is invited to make contact with the Band of Hope Foundation to arrange for collection.
