Rev Dr David Hanna, Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Northern Europe President, made three presentations during the one day Principles of Peace seminar held at the Universal Peace Federation UK Headquarters in Lancaster Gate, London. During the first presentation, 'Universal Values as a Foundation for Peace', (Powerpoint link here) Rev Hanna said, “Heart is the impulse to experience joy through giving and receiving love." He emphasized the significance of the heart as the driving force behind experiencing joy through the exchange of love. Margaret Ali, Director of UPF - UK, explained her vision and passion for UPF in an opening session that included an Introductory video to UPF made in 2020.

UPF Ambassador for Peace Awards:
As part of the program, the UPF Ambassador for Peace Awards were bestowed upon individuals who have made exceptional contributions to peacebuilding. The recipients of these prestigious awards were Captain Durdana Ansari OBE, Ms Aditi Sharma and Mr Zafar Zaman Chishti.
