Tirana, Albania—Participants from over 50 nations attended the Southeast Europe Peace Summit organized by UPF. The wide-raging UPF summit, held from October 25 to 27, 2019, was the first UPF has held on such a scale in Albania.

The Session 'Peace and Development in the Balkans: The Role of Business, Entrepreneurs and Investors' was graced with the presence of a number of regional former Heads of State in audience. The panel was composed of three former Ministers of Finance. Many on the panel had experience in international financial institutions.
A Universal Peace Federation World Summit was convened in Europe for the first time on October 25 - 27th, when the Co-Founder of UPF, Dr Hak Ja Han Moon, 16 former Heads of State, 400 Summit dignitaries from 50 nations, with 15 partner organisations, gathered in Tirana, Albania.
UPF’s Southeast Europe region will host a program on Peace, Security and Human Development in Tirana, Albania, Oct. 25-27. There will also be the launch of the International Summit Council for Peace Europe Branch, Youth and Students for Peace Rally, Peace Road Balkans & Family Festival and Blessing Ceremony.
