On the 27th January Universal Peace Federation (UPF) UK members and first-timers alike joined together for a consultation on the exciting new Migrant Leaders programme. Spearheaded by Elham Fardad, Migrant Leaders is a mentoring initiative that seeks to provide substantial support to young migrants with the ambition to succeed in their future career and life in the UK.
Universal Peace Federation (UPF) – UK’s Parliament Week event 2017 was convened with UPF's International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace. This was speed pitching-style event for young adults to have an opportunity to dialogue with Parliamentarians.
The Young Achievers Award 2017: Celebrating Future Leaders ceremony was an outstanding occasion to hear a wide range of inspiring testimonies from young adults from overcoming being a refugee to caring for disabled or homeless. Hosted by Rt Hon Tom Brake MP, a number of parliamentarians warmly congratulated their constituents while presenting their awards.
